DESCRIPTION:The annual Walk & Roll-a-thon event is being held throughout the month of June, at various York-Durham Aphasia Centre (YDAC) locations, to raise funds to support the programs and services of YDAC.     Newmarket Health Centre  194 Eagle Street  Newmarket    Aphasia is the partial or total loss of the ability to articulate ideas or comprehend spoken or written language, resulting from damage to the brain caused by injury, stroke or disease. People with aphasia may have problems speaking, understanding speech, using numbers or reading and writing. These difficulties can range from mild to severe in nature.
