DESCRIPTION:United Way of York Region (UWYR) is pleased to announce its 35th Annual General Meeting.    Location:  Aurora Cultural Centre, 22 Church Street (Church St. & Yonge St.)    Keynote speaker: Mr. John Taylor, Regional Councillor, Town of Newmarket and Co-Chair, Human Services Planning Board of York Region    Community and business leaders will gather for the annual general meeting of the United Way to elect new board members and mark significant milestones of the past year. Discussion will also touch on UWYR&rsquo;s priority areas of focus moving forward.    Regional Councillor, John Taylor will be in attendance to discuss Making Ends Meet, a landmark report the Human Services Planning Board of York Region released earlier this month. The report is a call to action to address increasing economic vulnerability across the region for low and moderate income families.
