DESCRIPTION:Location:  42 km Walk   Address:  Aurora, Newmarket, Keswick    How far would you go to help someone living with HIV/AIDS? On Saturday, August 20, participants will be going the extra mile for the AIDS Committee of York Region.     Starting at 7 a.m. at The Running Room Aurora, the participants will begin a 42 km journey to Lake Simcoe. All pledges raised will support client programs and help raise awareness for people living with HIV/AIDS in York Region.     HIV/AIDS affects over 33 million people worldwide including many in our own community. The AIDS Committee of York Region is committed to providing support, offering education and promoting the development of a caring and compassionate society.
