Location: U of T’s KSR, Koffler House Living Room  17000 Dufferin Street (south of Hwy 9)    Ross King, internationally acclaimed author of the forthcoming book Defiant Spirits: The Modernist Revolution of the Group of Seven, will discuss the artistic education of the members of the Group of Seven, in the backwoods of Ontario and the studios of Europe. Born and raised in Canada, Ross now lives near Oxford, England. Author of Brunelleschi's Dome, Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling and The Judgment of Paris, he will be curating the exhibition Modern Spirits at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection this fall.
