DESCRIPTION:    Saturday, September 12 2009 at the Farmers Market in Aurora     Apple Pie & Crumble Baking Contest    Pie and crumble entries must be received at the market between 9 - 9:30 a.m.     Judging will begin at 9:45 a.m.     Awards announced at 11 a.m.     No entry fee - all baking entries will be donated to raise funds for charity.     Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place, plus gifts and bragging rights!    All entrants will receive a free Aurora Farmers' market shopping bag     Childrens Apple Pie Eating Competition (Ages 7 - 13)     Registration: 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.     Entry fee: $3.00 (Charitable donation)     Ages 7 - 9 begin at 10 a.m.     Ages 10 - 13 begin at 10:45 a.m.     Ribbons awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category.     Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian over 16 years of age.     Apple Chomping Competition     Registration 11:00 a.m.     Entry fee: $1.00 (charitable donation towards Welcoming Arms Ministry)     Prizes will be awarded to winners!
