SUMMARY:17th Annual Ride For Literacy - Town of Georgina
DESCRIPTION:Every year, hundreds of motorcyclists get together in mid-July and ride their bikes all the way around Lake Simcoe to help raise money to support adult literacy programs in our communities.  The 17th Annual Ride for Literacy is hosted by the Learning Centre for Georgina in Keswick.  All proceeds will benefit youths and adults aged 16 and over in our community who wish to improve their basic reading, writing, spelling, math and life skills.    Location: The Learning Centre at the Ice Palace (90 Wexford Drive)  Time: Registration starts at 8 a.m.; Ride starts at 10 a.m.  Registration Fees are $40 for Riders and $10 for passengers.
