SUMMARY:Shaping York Region's Water Future - Sharon Temple
DESCRIPTION:Long Term Water Conservation Strategy - Water Scenarios for the Future. Over the past month, we conducted four Water Cafes in which we explored the future of water from a number of viewpoints, including a discussion on cross cultural perspectives, future planning, community redesign and what a "blue region" could look like. We now have a diverse collection of visions and a range of possibilities for the future of water in York Region. As research continues on best practices for water management, we would appreciate your input into York Region's 40-year water strategy by participating in this workshop where you will have the opportunity to help shape York Regions' water future. Please register by Friday. October 22. Space is limited. If you have any questions, please email us at: openwater@york.ca. Location: Sharon Temple National Historic Site & Museum, 18975 Leslie Street, Sharon.
