DESCRIPTION:Monday, December 20, 2010 to Monday, February 21, 2011 at Aurora Town Park  The Town of Aurora is pleased to present Aurora's very own Borealis to residents and visitors on Monday, December 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Town Park (at the corner of Wells and Mosley streets)!  Coloured LED Christmas lights will illuminate Town Park trees every evening from 5 to 9 p.m. after the December 20 kickoff until Family Day, on Monday, February 21, 2011, allowing families to skate one last time with the lights on.  This initiative is presented by the Town of Aurora but has been generously sponsored by: TD Canada Trust, Lighthouse IDA Compounding Pharmacy, Park Place Manor, Aurora Seniors' Association, Rotary Club of Aurora, Neighbourhood Network, Club Aurora and the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. By supporting this new community event, each sponsor was able to help create Aurora's Borealis by festively decorating one Town Park tree for the community to enjoy in the upcoming months.
