DESCRIPTION:United Way of York Region Announces Campaign Goal at the Toromont CAT Dragon Boat Festival in support of United Way of York Region.    Location:  Seneca College, King Campus, 13990 Dufferin Street, King City    Opening Ceremony and 2011 Campaign Goal Announcement - 8:30 a.m.    Racing, Tug-O-War, Beach Volleyball, Children’s Village and BBQ throughout the day.    Closing and Awards Ceremonies - 3:45 p.m.    Please join us for the 8th Annual Dragon Boat Festival in support of United Way of York Region (UWYR).  For a 4th consecutive year, UWYR is pleased to welcome back Toromont CAT, one of the country’s leading caterpillar dealers, as naming sponsor.    UWYR also acknowledges the generous support of the following corporate sponsors: Gold Sponsor, IBM, and Silver Sponsor, Acklands-Grainger Inc.  Special thanks to Lowe’s – East Gwillimbury for their donation of prizes for the top fundraisers, and for hosting the kids “Build & Grow” workshop.    41 corporate teams will come together in the spirit of friendly competition to paddle and raise funds for UWYR.    To officially launch the day’s activities, UWYR will unveil its 2011 Campaign Goal, setting the tone for the fundraising year ahead.
