The Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority and Town of Bradford-West Gwillimbury together with the South Simcoe Streams Network invite you to plant a tree this spring!
Scanlon Creek Conservation Area (meet at 10th concession parking lot)
— Come ‘green’ our living space! —
We’ll be planting native seedlings along Scanlon Creek as of part the Network’s efforts to enhance buffers and habitat along streams in South Simcoe.
Some suggestions for the morning:
· dress for the weather (rain or shine)
· wear sturdy shoes or work boots (no sandals)
· bring a hat and/or sunscreen
· pack a snack and bring a reusable water bottle or cup as there will be bulk water on site
· bring your own shovel, small bucket and rake if you can (helpful to put ID markings on any tools you bring)
· bring your community service hour sheet if you are a student wanting credits
