Due to construction at the Civic Centre grounds, this year's Canada Day celebrations will take place at various business locations throughout Georgina, including Keswick Home Hardware, The Wet Thumb, Jackson's Point parkette, Sutton Sobeys, Georgina Arts Centre, and the Pefferlaw Youth Centre.
From 2 to 4 pm, the public is invited to enjoy inflatable bouncers, free hot dogs, refreshments and cake, face painting, Canada Day souvenirs and more.
At 10 pm, marvel at a spectacular fireworks display, on a barge in front of the Salvation Army, Franklin Beach and De La Salle Beach. A shuttle service is available to and from the fireworks. Parking is available at De La Salle park.
