Details:
A flag raising ceremony in honour of Peacekeeping Day will take place Aug. 6 at noon in front of the Bradford West Gwillimbury Courthouse. The United Nations flag will be raised in honour of all Canadian peacekeepers, past, present and future. The flag will fly in that location for one week. Peacekeeping Day takes place Aug. 9 each year.
