Soul Asylum Poetry and Publishing Inc. has been developing several new projects that will have authors and musicians contributing their talents to major worthwhile causes with an international reach. 

Walk for Cerebral Palsy, Live Entertainment – Saturday August 28th - Jackson’s Point, Ontario - Entertainment starts at noon.
Double K Records is proud to be presenting Freddy Will live at the Walk for Cerebral Palsy in Jackson’s Point, Ontario. The walk is just one event this year to raise awareness and donations for Give a Miracle a Chance (G.A.M.E.), a charitable organization that
supports children with Cerebral Palsy. Freddy will have his latest CD and autobiography “My Book of Chrymes” available for sales and signings.

Also appearing for book sales and signings will be Margaret Hefferman, author of the illustrated children’s book Bedtime Treasures. It contains 9 short stories brought to life with illustrations by Nicole Wallace. We hope this is the first of many collections by Margaret to be published by Soul Asylum Poetry and Publishing Inc.

This is a public event with refreshments, prizes and music. People of all ages are encouraged to come out to lend their support and enjoy good times.
