Poor or absent planning is one of the leading underlying causes for failure of small-to-medium sized businesses, (”SME’s”) throughout the world. Incredibly, more than 80% of SME’s have no (formal) Business Development Plan. What planning exists is often ad hoc, and all in the owner’s head.

“Demystifying the Business Plan” will provide an overview of basic strategic and developmental business planning concepts and approaches. It will present the steps and components of business planning in a simple, understandable way, and provide guidance as to how any business owner or leader might move forward with building a plan, without having to spend hours each week researching, analysing and writing, when business already takes up all their time.
