Screening of Pigeon - Aurora United Church

As part of Holocaust Education Week, you are invited to Aurora United Church, 15186 Yonge Street, to view a screening of the short film, Pigeon.  Following the firm, Holocaust survivor, Roman Ziegler, will share his personal testimony.  Pigeon recounts a rare and startling act of humanity.  Roman Ziegler is the youngest of eight children and the sole survivor of his family.  He spent 31 months in four slave labor and concentration camps before being liberated in May, 1945.  He has lived in Canada since 1958 and is the co-author of Voice From the Heart.  This event is suitable for youths as well as adults.
