The International Day for Persons with Disabilities will be marked Friday, December 3, with a reception at Town Hall. Residents are invited to come to the Skylight Gallery at 2 pm for cake and coffee as the Town "celebrates diversity in our community."
"If you can't join us, please take a moment to celebrate with those around you in how far we have come in creating a more inclusive society for all!" said Ivy Henriksen, the Town's Accessibility Advisor.
Those attending will also be able to view the Town's annual Accessibility Plan and receive further information on disabilities and accessibility in general.
