An evening benefit by Juno award-winning jazz musician Paul Neufeld to support the hiring of a midwife to staff the Ongutoi, Uganda/Africa Health Clinic. The Ongutoi community is recovering from 20 years of war, natural disaster and terror. The Clinic has been a key part in the community's ability to rebuild. A midwife will be essential to support ongoing clinic work and save lives of mothers and children. The hiring of a midwife is part of multiple efforts underway by Newmarket and area community groups to relieve the suffering in this area of Uganda.
