Connecting Newcomers and Immigrants in York Region to the services they need!
â—¦Do you need help getting settled in Canada?
â—¦Would you like to improve your English skills?
â—¦Do you need help finding work?
â—¦Do you want to know more about other services available in your community?

It's easy to become overwhelmed by the amount of information on all the programs and services to assist people to become settled in York Region. This new initiative offers the solution by connecting people with the services they need, right in their own community. The knowledgeable Outreach Specialists quickly determine the best starting point for each person, then provide information not only to the client, but the organization being referred to.

Outreach Specialists will be out in the community, meeting with newcomers and immigrants at libraries, malls and special events!
