Get to know your digital camera with Garry Conway
Description: Never used a digital camera before or have you been using one and don't know how to print or store your photographs? Then ‘Before you shoot’ is a workshop designed for you! You'll learn what to do with the wires, media cards and battery charges that come in the box with a new digital camera.
Next you’ll learn the basics of taking pictures, using your built-in flash, viewing your pictures, loading them and viewing them on a computer. To wrap up you’ll learn some of the options for printing either on your own printer or at a photo-kiosk.
The workshop will be given in a relaxed atmosphere with time for conversation. The Museum will provide light refreshment but please bring a lunch and don't forget your camera!
*We welcome your input! Please forward your questions for Garry Conway to the Museum in advance of this workshop. He will then address your specific questions during the workshop.
