The York Regional Police Male Chorus will perform a one-hour benefit concert for the children of Jennifer Salandy, the 37-year-old mother of three who died early Christmas morning at Southlake Regional Health Centre as a result of an accident while she attempted to exit the parking lot of the hospital Christmas Eve afternoon.
The chorus wilI perform in Newmarket at Crossland Church on Millard Avenue West, just west of Yonge Street. The benefit is slated to be held Sunday, January 23rd beginning at 2.30 p.m.
There are 400 tickets available and they cost $10 each. Advance tickets are available by phoning York Regional Police Community Services at 905-830-0303 extension 6709 or in Aurora at 905-727-9676. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the concert.
