The Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation, with the support of many businesses and individual donors, has been able to provide funding to its partner the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority for numerous restoration, protection, education and outreach programs. This year we celebrate a very special milestone. The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority is celebrating 60 years of conservation! We are hoping to mark the significance of these 60 years in creative ways.
Our signature fundraiser is the George R. Richardson Conservation Dinner is on May 13, 2011 and we are inviting artists from the Lake Simcoe Watershed area to paint one-of-a-kind Cottage Chairs (made of wood) that will be auctioned off at the event.
