The Sharon Temple will host the Gwillimbury Quilt Guild for Quilts in the Temple – Piecing Past and Present. More than 100 quilts, handmade by members of the Guild will be put on display in the Temple. Quilting bee in the Log Cabin, on-site appraisals in the Cookhouse and special exhibit of heritage quilts put on by the Temple in the exhibit building. In addition, there will be refreshments in the Doan House garden and a vendor's mall in the Temperance Hall.
Hours and Admission: Friday, August 26th – 12-5pm, early admission $5; Saturday, August 27th – 10am-4:30pm & Sunday, August 28th – 10am-4pm, $6
*Admission includes access to the entire historic site.
Buses are welcome. In order to accommodate your group, we would appreciate knowing that you are coming. We want to make sure the kettle is boiling and the tea is ready for you!
