The King City End of Summer Bash will take place on September 5, 2011 at King City Memorial Park. This inaugural bash will provide a broad range of activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Activities will include:
- BBQ and beer garden provided by the King City Lions Club
- Firefighter rescue demonstrations
- Children’s entertainment including bouncy castles and an outdoor road hockey arena
- Mobile skateboard park (Youth encouraged to bring their skateboards)
- Toronto Marlies on-ice hockey clinic (registration required)
- Food and snacks provided by local vendors
- Much Music Dance Party for the Youth (ages 11-14)
- Afternoon and evening concerts featuring local artists
- The event will end with a performance by Northern Harbour (The Ultimate Tribute to Jimmy Buffet)
Admission into the event will be free for all participants. All revenue generated through donations and concessions from the Lions barbecue and beer garden will go towards the King City Skate Park project.
**Parking**- All participants are asked to park at King City Secondary School (2001 King Road). A free shuttle bus will be provided.
