Fall will be here soon and with it those amazing, vivid colours on the trees. If you would like to learn how to take better photographs in nature, we have the solution: a four hour basic digital photo workshop led by Peter Burtch.
In this workshop, geared towards basic to intermediate level, you will learn about light and camera settings, image composition, taking close-ups, landscapes and wildlife. In the last hour of the workshop, participants will head outside with Peter to photograph trees, birds and landscapes. A tripod would be an asset for this. Participants are asked to meet at the Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area (2450 9th Line, Bradford West Gwillimbury) at 9:00 a.m.
There must be a minimum of 14 participants to proceed with the workshop (with a maximum of 20). The cost of the workshop is $40.00 which includes coffee and muffins at 9:00 a.m. The fee must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20. Fees can be paid by mailing a cheque to Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation, 120 Bayview Parkway, Box 282, Newmarket ON L3Y 4X1 or call Judy Milner to pay by VISA or Mastercard at 905-895-1281 ext 241.
For more information on the workshop, please call Brenda Winter at 905-895-1281 ext 263.
