Brooks Farms is inviting everyone to celebrate the beautiful fall weather with some good old-fashioned apple picking, and join in the fundraising for the Lucy Maud Montgomery Society at the same time!
Bring the family to the farm for a fun-filled day on Sunday September 25. All apple sales that day will be donated to the LMMSO’s “Burn the Mortgage” campaign. This is a great way to celebrate the rich cultural and farming heritage we have in Uxbridge Township.
The popular Fall Fun Festival is now on at Brooks Farms, and runs every weekend (including Thanksgiving Monday) until the end of October. With new activities added every year, visitors will enjoy wagon and train rides to the pumpkin patch, pig races, sing-alongs, farm animals, zip lines, the Black Pumpkin pirate ship, bouncing ponies, a corn maze, straw jumps, pumpkin cannons, a play area and giant sandbox, alien slides, corn cob blasters, straw jumps, duck races… and more! And you can visit the farm market for fresh produce, baked goods and homemade preserves.
