The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority is inviting the community to an open house to provide input into the future of Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area.
Roger Reservoir Conservation Area is a 68 hectare conservation area along the banks of the East Holland River in the Town of East Gwillmbury. The conservation area supports a mix of forest, wetland and grassland habitat, as well as over 6 km of recreation trail including the inter-municipal Nokiidaa trail network.
This open house if the first step in developing an updated management plan for the conservation area. We want to hear from the public about issues they feel should be considered in the plan.
Time: 12 noon – BBQ fundraiser hosted by the Holland Landing Lions Club begins
12 noon – 1:30 p.m. – short guided hikes with the East Gwillimbury Trails Committee
1:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Public Consultation
Where: Gymnasium at Holland Landing Public School (16 Holland River Blvd)
