How Emotional Intelligence Can Drive Sales and Customer Service

Every day, new research demonstrates how much our emotions affect our relationships, interactions, and effectiveness. Research has demonstrated that 80 – 85% of the difference between good and excellent business professionals is their ability to manage their own emotions in order to more fully engage with others, and to recognize emotional distress in others and respond appropriately. This highly interactive, participant-centered workshop will:

•Provide a brief background to the “brain science” behind emotional intelligence
•Develop the skills to recognize and manage your own emotions
•Manage the emotions of customers and clients
•Develop relationship building strategies
Marion heads up the coaching practice of the Iris Group, an Aurora-based consulting firm specializing in organizational improvement.
